The Women's Institute (WI) plays a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.
At 100 years old and with around 218,000 members the National Federation of Women’s Institutes is the largest voluntary organisation for women in the country.

We are women who enjoy the wide range of experiences offered by Northumberland Federation of Women's Institutes. We have our own monthly meeting programme with a variety of speakers, we arrange trips across the country, take part in village activities and host social nights at the Community Centre where everyone is made welcome.
The WI is about inspiring women of all ages. Come and join us and you will find that as well as interesting speakers the WI offers opportunities to experience something new, outings, friendship and fun.
If you would like more information please contact us or come along to one or two meetings to see for yourself. You will be made very welcome.
